SPELLING

Monday, March 23rd 1.  PRACTICE the Spelling Vocabulary Unit 4:  carve, filter, float, freeze, glacier, lake, saltwater, sea, soak, swamp, waterfall, wet, freshwater, sea level. Click on the following link:  https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/ Type the word and listen to the pronunciation, repeat as many times as you need. Record your voice: At the beginning of the recording say your name; then, say the word and spell it. Do the same using all of the words, this will be your quiz . Send it to me next Wednesday 25th. Wednesday, March 25th Watch the 2 videos and practice the words as many times as you need. Write the list of words on your notebook. Look for the   definition of each word   in the dictionary as we usually do in class and write it. Prepare a speaking presentation to explain about the animals. 3.  Check the rubrics below and ask any question before you start. 4. Ask your parents for help to record your presentation. Remember you don't have to read, you have to explain.

Now you will WRITE your own paragraph:  Download the file  Paragraph Doc  and follow the steps to write your paragraph. Send the document back to my mail. FRIDAY, MARCH 20th, 2020 1. Do exercise 21, workbook p. 49 in your journal. Write complete sentences, Be careful using capital letters and punctuation properly. 2. Read the the text "Save water outdoors!" on p. 68 of your Student Book. Analyze the text and answer the workbook p. 52.
